Glen has been involved with tennis since he was 5 years old. Growing up in South Africa as a player, he reached the equivalent of the Connecticut State Team.

He has been teaching for the past 36 years. Starting on a part-time basis, in the summers in Fairfield County, in 1989 and full-time since 1992. He has extensive experience with players and programs of all levels and abilities.

His teaching resume includes both on and off court responsibilities, during the winter months, at clubs such as Ridgefield Tennis Club, Kings Highway Tennis Club in Darien and Shippan Racquet Club in Stamford. Summer assistant positions include the Belle Haven Club, Stamford Yacht Club, Fairfield County Hunt Club and Manursing Island Club. He was the Director of Tennis at The Shore and Country Club in Norwalk for 15 years (2000-2015) and the Director of Racquets at the Silver Spring Country Club in Ridgefield for 7 years (2016-2023).

Glen has worked at Four Seasons from 2013-2016 and from 2023-present. He is a member of the USTA, a certified USPTR Professional level instructor, a certified PPR and PPTR instructor and a USRSA Master Racquet Technician.
