Joe Watson, General Manager

Joe is a corporate leader providing segmented marketing solutions for businesses in traditional, digital, assisted and multi-media marketing. He has exclusively developed and applied proprietary marketing software that enables all types of businesses to successfully market their individual services/products effectively to their targeted clientele. His company, SegMark Solutions, has been highly successful in the trade show industry, where Joe has worked with numerous trade show producers and exhibitors for 30+ years, assisting with their marketing and exhibitor needs for both domestic and international events.


His insights into segmented marketing techniques and distinctive creative marketing campaigns have been successfully implemented for a clientele of varying business trades. From key logo branding initiatives to eMarketing technology to the various social media platforms, he has delivered positive results for SegMark clients, developing more effective and targeted communications between businesses and their current clients/prospects. Joe’s vision, understanding, and implementation of digital technology certifies SegMark Solutions as a leader among other marketing companies.


In 2003, Joe founded NorthEast Tennis magazine serving up smart, relevant coverage of the sport, national and international, as well as placing a focus on regional talent, tournaments, fitness, health, instruction, and issues that directly impacted an enthusiastic and growing northeast tennis market. As publisher and contributing writer, and growing the subscription base to 30,000+, he established NorthEast Tennis magazine as the region’s premier tennis publication. He partnered numerous times with the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI resulting in high profile interviews with inductees and ATP Tour stars. In 2012, he increased awareness and subscriptions by adding an electronic version of the magazine. Working with individual tennis club owners and tennis directors/professionals, eyes on the magazine quadrupled throughout the northeastern seaboard from Maine to New Jersey. 


In the realm of the tennis industry, and through the NorthEast Tennis magazine connection, SegMark Solutions became a conduit for marketing and business direction for numerous tennis clubs throughout the region. As the growth of the sport reached phenomenally increasing numbers over other sports, SegMark was called upon to help develop and increase media presence; strategize, develop, and promote programs; capitalize on the industry’s expansion; and improve each clubs’ ROI.


Joe is a sought-after consultant for small and large business management. He has developed and presented customized corporate seminars, training webinars, customer service initiatives, and one-to-one tutorials to marketing and production teams for numerous Fortune 500 companies, among others. In addition, he is a successful and acknowledged industry expert on printing, mailing and print-vendor relations. A sought-after speaker in both the private and public business sectors, he has spoken several times at the Folio Show in New York, the foremost event for the printing and publishing industry. 


In the community, Joe has been an active member with several non-profit organizations. He is a past-President of the Norwalk Exchange Club, past Board Member of Norwalk Grassroots Tennis, past Board Member of Circle of Care, and has helped out numerous years in event fundraisers with the Wounded Warrior Project, as well as for the Food Pantry, The Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, The Tim & Tom Gullikson Foundation, the United States Tennis Association and Toys for Tots campaigns.
